Hop into your Cloud Racer and try to head off your opponent with a thick trail of smoke. Using the arrow keys navigate your racer around trees, houses, and the smoke trail of each opponent. Try to defeat them as quickly as you can in order to earn as many points as possible.

You can also select 2 player mode to challenge a friend!

Once you have chosen your player and the difficulty level (medium gives you less NeoPoints, I’d suggest hard) you start the game. It goes quick, so be careful. The best strategy is to create a closed box that your component cannot interfere with. Take as much space as possible, like take over half of the game screen. Then outline the box you made, try to get as close to the walls of your box as you can. If you touch the walls of the paths you or your component made or the walls of the game screen, you will loose. By the time you make your box or a bit after, your opponent will loose and you win! It is a good idea to always have your eyes on your component when you can spare them. Your points will be doubled for NeoPoints.

The bottom half of the game screen works best, but the top is fine too.

This game is all about patience. If you just make long lines and go back and forth for a while, the other racer will eventually make a mistake and you will win.

Be patient, look for a weak spot in your opponents line, if they go down, you go on top of their line and close the holes so they are trapped in and you will slowly win.

If you’re going against computer, you should keep going forward until the other Faerie racer turns away from you to either the top half or the bottom half a little way from the center so that he (and you) don’t crash into each other. When he does turn, you will still have a little space to move so you can figure out which way to go, which, in my case, the OPPOSITE direction because you will have plenty of space to move. (If you move the SAME way as the computer, you will have less space to move because you are in the same half as he is, although you CAN get out, but there is a pretty slim chance of a success because the escape route is right on either side of the screen.

Once you are on the other side, just move back and forth from side-to-side or from up-to-down and back. Eventually the computer will score a goal for you by getting trapped in his own smoke, otherwise hitting either player’s smoke stream. I think this is for the first few Faeries only; the harder ones should be smarter.

I would say you should stay at least one or two spaces away from an obstacle.(You know the old saying:Better to be safe than sorry!) And keep well away from the walls, too, unless you are using the escape route mentioned above.
