Daily Neopets Routine | Text-only Dailies

 

First we will start off with how to get free NeoPoints and items, without paying a NeoPoint. Do these as often as possible. You will need to save every NeoPoint you make, so these are best for starting out.

 

Daily Activities

Bank Interest
You earn daily interest on your NeoPoints in the bank. Interest is added everyday at 12 midnight NST. Make sure you collect it before you do any deposits or withdraws otherwise you will lose it for that day.

Answer the Daily Puzzle to earn NeoPoints or you can win some items.

Summer Faire
Treat your pet to several tasty dishes from the Summer Faire. Does your pet want Lemwart Sorbet, Tobbie Fruit Sorbet or Melow Sorbet?

You can treat your pet to some delicious treats from the Camp Dino Cafeteria. US only.

Six Flags
After your pet has ridden the rollercoasters there are a few snacks they can munch on. US only.

Giant Jelly
Each day you can grab one piece of the Giant Jelly and one piece will feed your pet twice. Sometimes, the jelly runs out but a new one will soon appear, just check back later.

Giant Omelette
Each day you can grab one piece of it and one piece will feed your pet three times! Sometimes, the omelette runs out but never fear, as a new one will soon appear. Just check back later.

Tombola
Pick up your Tombola ticket to see what prize you win. If you have a winning ticket (0, 2 or 5) you can win a combination of Codestones, Faeries, foods or NeoPoints. Sometimes the Tombola runs out of NP and ask for donations.

Fruit Machine
Every day you get one free spin at the Neopet Fruit Machine. If the first two fruits match you win a prize. If all three fruits match you win a really big prize!

Deserted Tomb
Deep within the ruins of Geraptiku lies a tomb that has been deserted for a long time. Do you dare open the door and venture inside?
Frequency: Once a day
Lunar Temple
Visit the Shenkuu Lunar Temple where a wise old Gnorbu lives. He maintains the official lunar calendar for Shenkuu. The Original Lunar Temple Guide.

Council Chamber
If you completed the Altador plot you’ll be able to visit the King once a day to receive one item per day.
Frequency: Once a day
The Snowager
The Snowager sleeps during certain times of the day and when he is sleeping, your Neopet can sneak in and steal something from his hoard! Check out chill_of_the_night’s pet page for the Snowager Stats Project.
Frequency: Several times a day - 6am-7am NST, 2pm-3pm NST and 10pm-11pm NST.
Turmaculus
Can your Petpet wake the Turmaculus up? Choose a method on how to wake him up, if you’re successful your Petpet may gain a level, you may get an item or a healing spell. But be careful, if he’s grumpy he just may eat your Petpet.
Frequency: You can wake him up at random times throughout the day. Check out picovamde’s pet page for more in depth Turmaculus times.
Healing Springs
If your pet falls sick from either a Random Event or one of the wheels or your pet loses Hit Points (HPs) from battling you can visit the Healing Springs to try to heal your pet or gain back its HPs. If she is feeling extremely generous she might heal, feed and restore HPs all at once!
Frequency: Once every 30 minutes
Coltzan’s Shrine
This is the shrine of the late King Coltzan III and when you approach the shrine, his spirit may grant you something. It might be improved pets stats, food, NeoPoints, Battledome items or nothing!
Frequency: Every 12 hours
Wise Old King
If you think your Neopet is pretty smart, why not share some of their wisdom with the Wise Old King? He’s always on the look out for new bits of information. If he likes what your pet has to tell him you could be rewarded with some pretty nice gifts ;)
Frequency: Once a day
Grumpy Old King
King Skarl is not happy. Why don’t you try cheering him up? Tell him a joke using the drop down menus. Who knows he may even laugh and you could get a great prize from him!
Frequency: Twice a day
Qasalan Expellibox
Help the Qasalan officials get rid of those pesky Scarabs. Deposit a scarab into the Qasalan Expellibox and you could win NeoPoints, food or even NeoCash to spend in the NC Mall.
Frequency: Once a day
Meteor Crash Site 725-XZ
A meteor crashed into Kreludor on June 22nd. Poke it with a stick and you might find some cool items.
Frequency: Few times a day
Mysterious Symol Hole
Does your Petpet climb down slowly, dive in with eyes open (not recommended, hehe) or BELLYFLOP into the Symol Hole? Would you let your Petpet down that hole? Who knows what’s down there? Is your Petpet brave enough to find out?
Frequency: Every 60 minutes
Underwater Fishing
This trapped air pocket has created an underwater lake with all kinds of strange and wondrous sea creatures, as well as some… other interesting things. Increase your pet’s fishing skill, catch some interesting items or even an avatar. Fishing Made Easy guide.

Check out all the cool offers Neopets currently has. Earn yourself up to 100 NP for clicking on the Slorg.

The Meridell Rubbish Dump
Okay, it may not be the nicest smelling place in Neopia, but grab a peg and hold your breath. Mostly rubbish but a lot of good stuff comes up as well.

Soup Kitchen
If you have less than 3,000 NP you can go to the Soup Kitchen to get free food for your pets.

Advent Calendar
Every December, Neopets puts up their Advent Calendar and each day you can visit to get a daily free gift. It may be NeoPoints, an item, or both!

Potato Counter
In the land of Meridell, fun games are few and far between. In fact most of the time the residents have to make up their own games to pass the time… welcome to Potato Counter. Guess the number of potatoes on the screen. Based on how fast you can count all those potatoes, you’ll get a prize. Mmm potatoes.

Monthly Freebies
Get yourself 2,000 NP and some food for your pets once a month.

Daily Wheels

Based totally on luck. Spin the wheels of (mis)fortune. Follow the tips before you spin the wheels! You can spin multiple times a day, so your luck can’t be that bad always, right?

Wheel of Excitement
On the Wheel of Excitement you can win NeoPoints up to 10,000 NP, some good items and even ability increases but you can also get some pretty evil things as well like the Pant Devil stealing something from your carried items or the Lava Ghoul spitting fire at your pets. :( But it is worth the risk.
Tip:
Always go the the Wheel before you visit the Healing Springs. Also make sure you have all your items in either your shop or in your Safety Deposit Box.
Frequency: Once every 2 hours
Cost: 150 NP
Wheel of Mediocrity
Just like the Wheel of Excitement, one spin of the wheel could win you a prize, or it could end in… something nasty.
Tip: Always go the the Wheel before you visit the Healing Springs in case your pets get zapped. Also make sure you have all your items in either your shop or in your Safety Deposit Box as the Pant Devil will steal an item should you land on him!
Frequency: Once every 40 minutes
Cost: 50 NP
Wheel of Misfortune
Just like the Wheel of Excitement and Mediocrity, one spin of the wheel could win you a prize, or it could end in… something erm unfortunate.
Tip: Always go the the Wheel before you visit the Healing Springs. Also make sure you have all your items in either your shop or in your Safety Deposit Box.
Frequency: Once every 2 hours

Wheel of Monotony
Got a few hours to spare? Pull up a chair you’re going to be here for a while. You can win an avatar, lottery tickets and lots of other goodies, if you’re patient enough.
Tip: Have the Wheel of Monotony open in one window and go about your daily Neopets business in another, you can turn down the sound as well. If your browser is prone to crashing, leave the Wheel page open over night.
Frequency: Once every 24 hours

Wheel of Knowledge
